Well, my first piece is finished

It is certainly visually arresting. A dynamic interplay of form and color. Excellent.

Thanks guys.

Well, if they find out where the "recycled" parts came from, I might be arrested.

I'm curious to what you guys expected to see.

I was not expecting wall art - heard pottery expected, well, pottery.

I mentioned a few weeks back I have been dabbling in metal and was planning to go further.

I found out there was a juried show that a well known local big $$$ artist was judging, so I figured that would be the best show to make my first appearance, so I made this piece for it.

JP, wall art brings more $$$, thus the "inspiration". Besides, we're running out of counter space.

I like it a lot- kinda looks like T3 meets roller ball.

Very nice. I too thought pottery when you said pottery. Didn't expect such a heightened visual pleasure. I think I like the piece because it would compliment any type decor including our wooden hovel. Some art is so decor dependent that unless your home has an avant garde style, it just doesn't work.

Again very nice and I am sure in a Gallery it will be snapped up.

Good on you! (P.S. I think I found Agatha's missing dipstick.)

Very nice! I'll take 200 of them. How much $ and how long do you think it will take you to finish?

Oh, I also need a custom piece - do you think you can do anything special with a window regulator and a 6-71 blower case with a hairline crack?

Ya know, on my way home I knew a window reg would be involved but I did know how.

I figured you'd offer twenee hundred or trade for a box of commando.

Ladies and gents, say hi to the Lt. Col, an old friend of mine.

There is some potttery involved. The center is wheel thrown raku.

#2 is almost done. I tried a new alloy that shoulda been perfect but no go. 2 is like one but w/ no back piece. photos comming soon.

One of the little guys:

The next big 'un.

Both centers are about the same size as the first one. The little guy's center is slightly bigger. The big second piece is about the same size as the first big one.
