Well I got the new Brooklands Windshields installed this weekend some of the interior done also. I went to DMV this afternoon and got my new plates and the TR3 registered all legal. So as soon as I got home and put the plates on I went to the gas station to fill up and of course had to take the long way home. Wow I forgot how much fun it is to drive a automobile that smells, rattles, makes noise and get the thumbs up from people and then say "NICE MG"!! Oh well to me a toyota and a honda look the same!! I hope to get the bonnet on tonight. Still more parts on the shelf.

Enjoy it, you're right about driving a real car! Can't beat it.
I envoy you, mine are parked for the winter.

Nice car! I really like that color combination.... You gotta love that premium gas is $2+ a gallon cheaper; Fill 'er up!

Love the Brookland windshields, really neat. Enjoy....................

We really need some outdoor shots of the car. It's too dark in there to get a good view of all of your fine work.

I've got a set of Brooklands I will be installing on my TR3a. Did you use any of the original mounting holes? How did you place the screens.

I just got these parts off of evil bay to go with the Brooklands windscreens.

All available in the UK at https://www.racetorations.co.uk/catfglass.html With the roll bar I think it will give the TR a real different bolt on look.

You are right I do need to get some outdoor shots with better light and to prove that it does run!

I think you were the guy that out bid me for the side fairings and brackets. You got a steal To get them from the manufacture is about 350$ not counting shipping.
The placement of the Brooklins was done by what I thought looked right. Basicly centered of the defroster vents. There were no holes that I could find so I drilled new ones and used 6/32 fine stainless bolts from Ace hardware.
The Brooklands do give good protection from the wind and a great conversation starter at the stop lights.

If you plan on using the normal windscreen then place your brooklands mounts while the windscreen is in place. The Brooklands screen proper is easily removed with a few allen bolts and you should be able to slide you stock windscreen into place without the mounts touching the glass.
It's not really practical to remove the mounts as they are wood/metal screwed into place.

Hey tinman,

Really nice looking TR you have there. I too am "Very" envious.

What color is the exterior? White or Old English White or What?

By all means; Do take some pics outdoors as I`m sure the weather in CA. is a heck of a lot warmer than here in NE PA.

This AM; 27 deg. & not getting much warmer!!

"I HATE IT"! Someone please buy my house so I can move down to the Greenville, SC area.

Envious Russ

PS: Hey Hap; Where is that buyer you were going to find for me?
