I've been wanting a pressure washer for years but hardly ever have enough use to warrant the purchase. The one I want is of course $1000 and up...

I looked and looked, walked into Sam's and they had one on sale for $229 (I was planning on spending at least $300). I know this is the cheapy cheapy disposable one but I figured if I have to pay someone $150 a pop to do it and it lasts two times I'm still good and it's done to my satifiaction.

What an idiot I've been for not buying one 9 years ago when we moved in (although the house was almost brand new)! The best thing is I'm able to clean the leaves off the ground around the house. This makes a huge difference, but now I need some kind of beds or multch. I'm worried about those crazy roaches moving back into that stuff, I saw a few displaced ones today. I just played around a little bit; still need to go get some bleach. I just knocked off the big chunks (mud dauber) and cleaned what little patio surfaces we have, a window or two and even a few mossy trees. This thing is gonna make a huge difference!

Just read the directions, crazy thing says don't use bleach. I've never heard of that before. It might go back, I have to use bleach.

Just read this one has down steam injection so it should be fine but manual says no. Gonna do it anyway as it aint goin thru the pump.

Use a separate apparatus for bleach application. One of the cheap hand wand pump sprayers.

Thought about that but it will take forever plus I won't be able to get it high enough. I think the no bleach thing is just a general disclaimer for their cheaper electric models. There's no reason I can think of why you can't use it in a down stream injection model. It injects close to the pump but still...

I've been researching more expensive models. Hard to believe you're expected to pay $1000 for something with plastic parts inside the pump. Looks like I'd have to spend $1300-1500 for a real pressure washer. All in all this one is o.k if it will hold up and I can use it with bleach.

If bleach eats presure washer seals then what about the seals in windows and skylights? They make plenty of cleaners that will work in those washers. Many that clean and like bleach but don't hurt stuff.

Yeah, and they cost 10-20 times as much as bleach. I checked it out and there are some things in between where it goes in and comes out that may get damaged. I'll see about a sprayer but I'm sure that'll get eaten too. HF has a backpacker sprayer on sale for $19 but I bet it wouldn't last long at all.

Problem solved: HD sells a soap nozzle for $12 that goes on the end of the wand. I bought some approved cleaner too but now it wont go through the washer. It worked for a second but quit. Oh well, I'll just use my soap nozzle.
