Well...ACK & YIKES!

Jeff - step back slowly, slowly...allow her to fume just a bit but keep an eye on her face, especially the eyes....now, as soon as you're out of 'leap' range, turn & run like h###...& you don't have to be the fastest guy there, just faster than the slowest

Early in the various discussions over colour I offered that Porsche had a "Mouse Gray" that was kinda nice, too. That went over like a... well...

Like a lead balloon. Yeah. Lead balloon.

Din't say nuffin' 'bout no punchbowls.

Triumph had a nice looking gray color.

Right you are Jeff, but I think she is looking for a more elderly looking colour.

Paul

Gotta go now.... got a thing <taps empty wrist>.....

And faster than me, and I can out run every one of you. If I can't run faster, I can run longer. I love it the way you chickens pop off the cracks when you know I'm AWOL.

I can't wait til MG2006...

Triumph grey. ~thumps head~ I can't believe I didn't think of that in the first place. You know, I might as well just buy a Spitfire already painted that color. Could park it in front of the house til the city towed it away...

Speaking of colors, gauze is a lovely shade, don't you agree? Particularly when it's accented with some red...

Hmmmm.... Gauze with a red interior?

Ok we know the interior is going to be red and the final vote will be for Dove Gray or Gauze.

Vote time, but I see no way to make a pole? (sp?)

I'm sure Jaybird would just love our combined learned opinion.

I've seen Mickey's little TR-3 & I've gotta say that combination is very striking - actually, beautiful

&, Janel, its not a Triumph color!

Well, yeah, it really is - Pearl White, though the cross-reference showed a '70 (I think) Toyota white. It's more a cream/VERY pale yellow. Came out better than I had hoped for!

Mickey

Oh, sorry, Mickey...remembered what you told me about the Toyota - guess I forgot about the Triumph connection....

Janel could never use it now that she knows... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The only other car I'd drive besides an MG is a Toyota. Okay, other than a Gullwing, an AC 428, a BMW 507, a '71 Lotus Elan Sprint and a '76 Caddy Eldorado convertible hoopty car. Oh and an Ace-Bristol. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Anyway, Mickey, do you have a bigger pic of the TR3?

That's the only one I have on this computer - I think there are still some on the other one - to big to attach here. I'll check and email to you tomorrow.

Mickey

Thanks Mickey! To the charter email if you still have that address please!
