Weird Mini fastback in Australia [Mini Monaco?]

Re: Weird Mini fastback in Australia [Mini Monaco?

John Centrone writes:

Bill Buckle of Brookvale, Sydney was a 60s sports car manufacturer. Few are known to have survived of up to a possible 15 to 20 built.
As the owner of this car, I'm thrilled with your comments
I have owned it since 1984 and with the help of friend Colin Winter, we totally restored the car between 1995 and 1998. I won't bore you with details.
Worked 1293cc, 45DCOE. LCB with custom twin centre outlet exhaust. Adjustable suspension, Konis, Superfins and 6 1/2" Mamba wheels.
Regards, John.

Hi John,

Saw your note over in Flickr as well, thanks for that information on your car, it definitely is a neat unit...

So when are you going to show it off over in North America? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif We're all waiting /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Seriously, I'd love to see it some day, in the meantime...

Re: Weird Mini fastback in Australia [Mini Monaco?

I would love to make a career of showing my car.....
But I have to work to pay my bills.
Now, If some one were to pay the freight, That would be something else. Wouldn't it. Ah, one can dream I guess.
It would be fantastic to see it in North America.
John.
