Guy near me had some MG stuff, I was looking for some sort of wind blocker. He had this thing, I think it's meant to fit a folding top car? Anyone familiar with this?
It's on my pre-folding top Midget frame but I didn't try very hard to get it to fit as I don't think it's supposed to?

Homemade....see those sewn seams that are not sealed properly?

I don't know. Doesn't seem like it fits the early style ('63) set up. No way to attach to the deck that I can see. Maybe if it were stretched onto the folding style frame, but then it'd be permanent and you couldn't have a full top if you wanted one. It has elastic with c-clips that apparently fit over some bars but how you'd attach it to the rear I don't know. Thought maybe someone would recognize it. Odd. Too beat up to put much effort into anyway. Homemade soft targa/surrey top thingy, screen instead of a window. Odd. Then there's those triangular protrusions you see pointing forward (I could have it "on" backward too of course!). Why the cutouts in "back" and the sides? Mystery. It actually doesn't seem homemade.

It's a bra. The triangular tube is meant to stop flapping. the hooks go to the fenders. Holes for license, turn signals and fog lights.

:winner1: ?

Duh! That makes sense.
I just threw it over the nose. Maybe for a bugeye or an entirely different car, won't fit mine. I should have recognized that sooner, good call.
