OK - last post for tonight. This car competed the recent 24 Hours of Lemons after not having run in 10 years and being stored outside (ok, stored outside in SoCal but still). They guys who ran it are locals and a total hoot.
They basically changed the fluids, added a battery/electrical cut off and drove it. They where actually leading at one point.
Anyway, they drove it to our local Cars & Coffee event in Irvine last weekend. The are going to run it "as-is" in the next local Lemons event as well. Here are some pictures along with a couple gratuitous pics from our weekend drive/breakfast event.
