Weber Carb performance

Just try the simple stuff first. You may need to rebuild the carb but odds are correct adjustment of the carb will be all that is necessary. I note that you rebuilt the carb about a year ago so I doubt you have a problem there. But do keep SimonTR4a's note, just in case.

I think the black tailpipe and the gassy smell of the exhaust has put you on the right track.

For any of you following this posting, I just adjusted the carbs and now waiting to get through the tank of gas to get some results. Seems to run a little different, but its also gotten colder here lately.. but will get back later with the results... about a week or so.

Thanks for the update. I have been following the thread, as I've started a restoration, and my B has a Weber as well. And I'm greatful for any info I can get before I go in swinging a mallet and mace. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
