I deleted the link, but what's wrong with the member number? Am I missing something?

2715 is the number of members - not the member's number.

Does that mean member numbers are random? I thought they were assigned in order.

They are......but as a member either cancels his or her membership, or is kicked off as in the case of his character, his or her membership number is not reassigned, so the membership number will be higher than the amount of actual members.

I didn't even get what the webcam was supposed to be it was just a picture of some guys standing around.

Cheers,

Please excuse me, I'm from a very different generation. -- What does "a cheesy of getting hits" mean? We don't seem to speak the same language, although it DOES seem to be some form of English.

Dave- Every time someone visits a website it's called a "hit". For instance, sometimes you'll hear a story on the news about a new website going up and "getting ten billion hits" on the first day. Means ten billion (or whatever number) people surfed over there. Sometimes, on sites, you'll see a little counter at the bottom of the page (looks a bit like an odometer, in fact!) that counts the number of visitors, or "hits". Lalonge was using the forum as a cheapo way of advertising his or her website. Sadly, I clicked it, thinking that it may have some car related video on it, rather than the usual webcam fare of adult themed video and got what looks like a travel site.

I think he meant to say "just a cheesy way of getting hits", but I'm usually wrong, ask my wife

Thanks guys. I'm trying to keep up with the jargon but sometimes lose it. Most of the time & don't even know what my grandson is saying. And worse, I think that that is what he intends.

I thought that getting hits had something to do with smoking weed.

For some time the numbers were only 3 or 4 apart and we all shared Basil's pride in that. That it is greater now is only testament to the price of success as the forum has grown. Way to go Basil!
