I know everyone is enjoying this crappy weather and we all invent projects to help with the boredom. This is what happens when type A meets boredom!

We have off tomorrow (snow) so I'll be reading, playing guitar and maybe in the garage doing a little stuff with race-Spridget, MGB, A35 or Super 7.

Meanwhile, my '73 Midget (and Miata) sit outside waiting for another 8 inches of snow. This was taken this morning after I knocked most of the snow off the Midget.

We're expecting 10 to 14 inches between tonight and tomorrow evening in Maryland. The Sprite is safely ensconced in the garage. One of the selling points to my wife on buying the Sprite was that it and her Corolla would fit nose-to-tail in our one car garage (actually it's a car and a half). I cleaned up the garage and decided to try it for the first time before the snow storm. Looks like my measurements were off. The Corolla's entire trunk was sticking out. Oops. Guess it's too late to return the Sprite :friendly_wink:

Next year, I'll get the dollies and rearrange the garage so I can turn the car sideways. That should do the trick.

Hey 65 Sprite. We topped you by 3 degrees it was 81 in Bonita today. It is what I call Sprite weather and I was out there tooling around.
You and I need to show some compassion for our Comrades.

True, sorry. I moved here from northern Minnesota in 1980, so I know snow and cold. I can't wait to see how much sympathy I get in July when its 115 at 4pm in the afternoon.

Or maybe take down the Christmas wreath on the garage. :eagerness:

Well I was born in San Diego almost 72 years ago and have lived her most of my life. If I were to try a colder climate , say back east or even north on the west coast I know I would disentagrate so I am staying put.

Spring is coming to Dayton over the next week. Temps going up and by next Week moving into 40's for highs and Thursday 57 and Friday 62. As of today 35 days until the start of Spring. Bathroom remodel underway, I get to contribute tile work this weekend and then can get back to work on Bugsy. Yeah!

Its 30 here in south east South Dakota this morning and I've been out in shirt sleeves all morning. When its been 0 or below for so long you kinda get acclimated. I've spent all day hunting when it was 30 below when I was younger but don't think I could carry around the clothes it takes to keep warm at those temp's anymore!

Kurt.

Here's some shots from today.

Underneath that lump of snow is my Jetta Sportswagen

Starting to clear things off. The Corolla is in front.

Meanwhile, the Sprite stays warm and dry in the garage, accompanied by various snow shovels and the snowblower.
