Nasty day here, rain and about 70 and very humid of course.

Hay, I thought this was Florida.

"South Georgia" morelike! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

~I'm~ in Florida: Sun's out, dry day, mid 80's.

You need to come further south, Jack!

...think I'll go out inna back yard an' work on me tan. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Went for a drive in the J-H. Mid-50's clear and "brisk", lovely day for it.

Stopped in at the local supermarket to fight the crowds for a loaf of bread, came out and found THIS parked next to me....

...a shiny new Aston Martin.

and the drive was great fun too- the back roads up into the hills above Glasgow- the start of the highlands. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

40's and rain here....Been like this most of the week, depressing. Yesterday was a little better, but I spent the whole day fixing the handbrake on the mean green mahcine. Today I am staying dry in the basement making some TC progress /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

93, sunny, humid, can't wait for winter. This is Florida. They promise 67° highs on Tuesday. I can hardly wait!

I want it to rain again to see if we fixed the leak in my new garage roof!

I can tell ya Tony, it was not fixed when I left. Weee, a regular water fall.

What did you do?

Weather finally decided to clear up here at around 4:00 Sunday evening....just in time for the work week, figures...

Jack - we removed the shingles where the 2 roofs come together - entire length, about 6'...then removed the tar paper....the laid a rubberized mat that adheres to the deckng...new tar paper & replaced the shingles.

We'll see.....

Yep, just hope you went far enough up the roof. Keep in mind how far back that pool was. In any case, in worst case you can put one or more overlays of the rubber stuff on up the roof. In fact they do have available very large sheets of that enough to cover the whole roof. I know you did not want to hear that.

I just want rain. A tropical storm would do nicely. We're into "desert" conditions now and have been since late spring I think.

I'll swap places with you in about 4 months when things start to burn up around here and we get evacuated! Hopefully it won't happen, but the last time things were this bad I just left all my important things packed in a couple of boxes by the front door ready to go so I could grab it and run.

Update: OUCH!! I spoke too soon - a 20acre brush fire in Daytona just started. That's tiny though...the last couple we had south of here closed I95 off and on for days.

Blah! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

No contest. If I could move the business to Anchorage tomorrow I'd do it.
