Weasel Pee or ACS for hardwood floors??

Seeing as how everyone has a "formula" for this, that, or the other, I figured I'd throw this out there and see what the collective wisdom has to offer. What do you find works best for cleaning hardwood floors? We had ours done recently - water based finish (never again)- and were advised to use vinegar and water. Leaves the floors cloudy, streaky and dull. We were advised not to use Murphy's or similar products. What do you all use? I'm sure Weasel Pee is NOT on the list! LoL

p.s. ACS = Ancient Chinese Secret.....who remembers that one?!

Or the ancient indian digging stick...

Murphy's would be my choice but since you've a water based coating about anything is gonna make it look milky.

Use a PH neutral cleaner, or go back over your job with a damp mop and see if you have left a film. It depends upon the type and brand of water based finish. Yours is perhaps a water based polyurethane. I have had success with vinegar and water but a weak solution and well rinsed after. Also a weak solution of dish detergent on any greasy areas. The rinse is the key to success. Always try a small out of the way area first before proceeding to the whole thing.

Well....ring around the baseboards!! LOL

swiffer wet

All water based coatings make a milky film when wet. Should dry clear.
I use Murf's on all my floor cleaning at my jobs.
Also on the walls when I work
Keeps my hands soft for the l'il Missus.
