Bravo! and what a great sound that engine makes at any speed!

Sweet sounding TR6!
I just adjusted the valves in my 6 about 3-4 weeks ago.
Safe travels.

Recent major tune: new plugs, wires, valve adjustment, electronic ignition, coil, copper dizzy cap, red rotor, fuel filter, road tested prior to 2K mile roundtripper next week appreciate utube watch.

Julius hopefully your new plug wires are of the modern ( not solid wire) silicon type.

Don't know about not solid aspect, use to run blue cobalt wires last 10+ years red magnecor 8.5m specified for TR6 by vendor
I installed a electronic ignition while using copper core spark plug wires and my electronic ignition unit died about 250 miles from home. Later heard via forum chats that electronic ignition units are not compatible with metal wire ( copper) plug wires.

Running pertronix electronic ignition with 3 ohm flamethrower coil since the mid 80s with either aforementioned wires without any issues other than magnets in circular pattern falling out on 1st production units, current issues flawless, keep the removed 1 in the boot as back up;)

My Pertronix with 3 ohm coil has been running without any issues for over 20 years.
