Waz Happnin' this weekend?

Weather this weekend was unpleasant, so I went to HD in the VW not the Rumf. Got the compressor up and running, which took longer than I'd have liked thanks to the cheap regulator setup I bought. Note to self: Next time don't buy a filter that is rated at 125psi when your compressor shuts off at 165psi...

I then spent an instructive hour learning (I think I learned something) to MIG weld.

It was more fun than I expected - there is something deeply satisfying to be able to stick two bits of metal together and have them stay that way.

I put a new stereo in the MGB and fixed the seat anchor where the captive nut was stripped out. Then took it for a ride with the wife.

Greg, That is cool!... would love to give that a go!! I love stuff that gets done "on its own time", so to speak!!!
