Did anyone on here attend the Glen this past weekend? What a time. Over 550 race cars entered. Over 150 Mg racers. Perfect weather. And not to mention all the sportscars on the road. I was in heaven.

One of my students was up there with a group from the NJ Replicar Club. I have Lime Rock Vintage pix from the previous week and we're going to trade shots soon. Some of my pix are here:

A number of the guys entered at Lime Rock told me that they'd be at the WG event. I was racing at Pocono this week(with EMRA) so I couldn't go.
We'll be racing at the Glen on Oct 22, 23 and 24. It's a long track....takes *forever* to get around it in the Sprite.

Great pictures. I bet there are over fifty thousand dollars worth of cars there!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't believe someone actually owns TWO 2 yes two real GTO's.

Hi all. My dad is a good friend of Dick Stockton (#71 Triumph TR4, blue and orange). I'm curious if anyone has any pictures of the car from this past weekend? There is one up on the Glen's site. He only was able after qualifing 1st in DP-1 and 5th overall in Group 3 to complete 1 1/2 laps in the race on Sat. so he wasn't racing on Sunday. 2 pistons are totally disenigrated. Anyway if anyone has some pictures give a shout.

I belong to the twin cam group on yahoo & they had alot of cars & pics if the Triumph turns up in any I'll send it-they are kind of focused on "their own kind" though....Randi

Thanks for looking. I might as well introduce myself while I'm at it. I'm a 17 year old, junior in high school, who is very interested in road course racing. Mainly production based classes. I can't get enough of vintage cars and especially vintage racing. I love Triumph TR4's and have learned a ton about them from hanging around that Triumph. Anyway I plan to go to college for some kind of engineering and race on the weekends. Until then I'm going to get a kart and race that through college. Hopefully I'll be at some races next year.

I raced there last weekend, Green MGB #58.
If anyone has any shots of my car I would like to see them.

About the "perfect Weather", It was perfect only for ducks when I was on the track Thursday and Friday. It was WET and slick!

Still had a great time

Tom Whitfield

Wasn't it a fabulous weekend? We arrived Thursday afternoon and set up camp at the very damp State Park, but luckily it dried up by midday Friday. We didn't take as many pictures as we have in prvious years but I'll check to see if we have one of your car, Tom.
