This friday is the annual Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix Festival, followed Saturday and Sunday by the races at the track.
It's LBC nirvanna!!!! I can't describe it! Those who've been there before know what I'm talking about. those who haven't..... ya gotta plan on it someday!
Anyhoo... who's going? I was stupid and missed meeting up with Jaybird when she came through... I'm not messing up again. I'd love to get togeather with whoever's there either friday evening or saturday anytime.
Lemme know.
Being that BMW is the featured mark this year, I'll have the 318. But I'm planning to fly BCF colors ala my T-shirt! so say howdy if ya can.
Lots-o-pics to follow.

I actually got an invite to run in the '07 Zippo.

But we're running our LeMans Start 2-Hour at Pocono the same day, and I'd never miss that!

So many races...so little time! (there's also a great NJ Moss Motors car show this same weekend).

We're sharing The Glen with a vintage club (VRG) on Oct 19-20-21. I'll be running that entire weekend. Come on over if you're free.

My usual, "I only wish I could go" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif

It would be so cool to be able to attend neat events like this, Calgary has no semblance of anything that interesting... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I envy you folks who live so close to these great facilities
