Water Pump and other ancillary details

As I have the engine out being rebuilt, can the water pump on a 1974 TR6 be rebuilt? It was not having any problems, but as the rest of the engine will be rebuilt, I wondered if one should do any bearings and seals for it?
I am away from home on a business trip and can't get to my usual references so thought I would ask the group.
The starter and alternator have been upgraded by the previous owner.
I got a fuel pump rebuild kit and intend on doing it.
Clutch and transmission have been redone as have all the ujoints.
Radiator and heater core are being boiled and rodded are required.
Distributor was rebuilt by Jeff at Advanced Distributors.
Carbs still trying to justify sending them out. They work and don't leak air. I bought rebuild kits for now.
Am I missing anything for the engine compartment?
Thanks

Hello Norton,

unless you want to spend a lot of money for a bit of shine, I would fit the overhaul kits that you have. If you haven't done them before you will have the bonus of learning more about them.

Thanks as always.
I will look into getting one of the shaft/bearings setups from HDRK and look into doing this.
