Aquarium hose is what I used. Worked great for five minutes before the motor died.

That's a great point. I have an original oval bottle with a lucas motor on my resevoir, and when I push my still-functioning Clear Hooters switch, a trickle of fluid bubbles out of the jets. I assume that either the motor lacks enough "oomph" after all these years, or I have an air leak in the ancient tubing. Either way, the fact that it still makes noise and is able to push at least a few drops of fluid satisfies me that it works, and convinces me to leave it the heck alone!!!!!
Same with my wipers. They and the original Clear Hooters switch worked (on both speeds, I might add) on the 200 mile trip home when I bought the car -- torential rain the *entire* way, from mile one right on through to mile 200. That convinced me that they work, and I never plan on driving in the rain again, so I leave them alone too! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
