Was driving home tonight and

Mr. Smit,

You mean that you've heard of the Dodge Omni
GLHS? The "s" was for Shelby, that helped develope
the car.Man they were fast!
Two of us were working the finish line at the
Keno Hillclimb, just West of Klamath Falls,Oregon.
When you heard that a Stock classified vehicle was
coming up the hill, you knew that you had plenty of
time, before it crossed the finish line.
Anyway,we heard that an Omni was headed up the
hill,so we took our time getting ready. We were sur -
-prised on how quickly it got there!
Seems that the owner bought it on Thursday,& raced
it on Saturday. There was even an advertisement,I think
in Autoweek showing this car & stating something about
how it was Shelby's first racing win in XX years.
Also,I believe that they were all painted Black.
