Want to feel old?

Bunch of old fogies, I've only lived under eight presidents.

It's gonna be hard to beat 15 but I can tie it. Made me think a bit too.

I'm still on the cusp of old. While I'm barreling down on 50, many of my friends are 60+ so I'm still the young guy with them. At work, however, I work with a number of young guys in their early 20's. They do make me feel old some times. A couple of them had never even heard of the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." That hurt a little.

This made me feel old.......
I had to sign a game card at a soccer tournament a few weeks ago to verify the score. The 20 something field marshal gave me the card to sign. After signing, he said “what’s your name?” Jokingly I said “Alfred E. Neuman” and he started to write that down. I said “stop” and asked him if he knew who that is? His response was “no clue”.
At that moment I felt old.

We've had three cats abandoned by neighbors a few doors away, about four years ago. They left the house to foreclosure and the cats with it. Skinny and hungry (raised by humans, fed and domesticated), I couldn't ignore them so now they're our "occasional cats." If people come by the cats are in evidence and I tell them the cats' names. Depending on the age of the visitors, it's blank stares or immediate laughter. I've named 'em Lucy, Fred and Ethel.

Too bad you didn’t have four - Ralph, Alice, Ed and Trixie. 🤠

How is this one. When I got my drivers license at 18 my mother got me AAA road service and kept it up even when I was in the Army. I have it to this day AAA now sends me a license plate frame for my years with them I have been a member of AAA longer than the age of the people in the AAA office It is now 57 years with AAA. Note you need good cell service to use it in Nevada also.

Mits told me: "If Ricky shows up, you're a dead man."
