feel old

I once told my nieces, all born from the 1990s on, that when I came into the world the flag still had 48 stars. They had to look it up since they didn't believe there had ever been less than 50.. So they make me feel old sometimes.

If I remember right, the Wizard of Oz (1939?) is older than I am but not by much.

That can't be true - he was already old when he went to OZ - unless of course.... Oh my goodness are you father time? :ROFLMAO:

Yet another way to feel old is to go into an Apple store. :D

You guys are still kids - not even dry behind the ears yet. BTW - what does that mean? I'll be 88 in November. As Peter Falk said to Alan Arkin in The In Laws "Survival Shel. That's the key to the Pension Plan".

Going to your grandson's wedding! Seeing my granddaughter's children, our great-grandbabies! Kinda lets you know just how old you are! :encouragement:

I’m with you all the way Paul. Our oldest granddaughter will have 20 years active duty in the Navy in September.

My oldest great grand daughter just recently became an official teenager.

Couple years ago had to have my work laptop replaced. As I was sitting at the tech desk waiting for them to finish loading the software on the new one I was chatting with the young lady building it. She was saying that it had been so long since she'd graduated and she just didn't understand how time could go by so fast. So I asked, when did you graduate?? 2016 was the answer, so 3 years earlier. I just had to laugh and say I'd been working there longer than she'd been alive and when she someday hit her 60s, then look me up and tell me how time goes by so fast...

Queen Elizabeth's has reigned for 71 yrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower was President 68 yrs ago.

You got me by one.

Only 14 for me, too.

WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I don't have any of those. I can live in denial.
Yup-yup! Childless here and perfectly pleased to be so.
