Want to buy shock

Does anyone have a left front shock they would be willing to sell me?

Mine has quite a bit of front-back play in the lever arm. I have tube shocks up front, so I don't need a good shock, just one with no play in the arm.

I may have one Morris, I'll check tomorrow. I think I have three extra shocks that came with the car.

Be careful on your first drive: it is recommended that you change shocks in pairs to ensure they are even.

Pete, with the tube shock conversion, the shock serves no purpose other than to act as an upper control arm. Replacement in pairs isn't required in this instance.

Ah, I see (said the blind man), well as long as safe that's all that matters. That said, you do get extra Kudos if you go through the Pearly Gates backward in a fireball...
