Big yeah - but I've seen them pretty big around here. I saw two of them in Crescent Lake yesterday morning that looked pretty freakin' big, and that was from the air!
 
I thought it was a bit much as I had just recently seen that the record for a 'gator in Fl. was in the 14'-15' length! The pictured 'gator would eclipse that record by a long shot!
