I saw that the other day, What a shame. Looks like it was real beauty, looks like a lot of good parts to apply to a project. I love to have a BN2.
 
...argh ! Is it a co-incidence, but I see loads of accidents and near accidents initiated by BMW drivers here in London!

Surprising that that front wheel seems untouched with that amount of damage on that side, though perhaps it was changed to move the damaged vehicle.

I suppose it could be resurrected on a new chassis

andrew, the view from the back of the car is amazing i think even with a new chassis the job would still be very challenging. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif
 
I know the seller and have seen the car in person. I had a chance to buy it but declined...you can make a "replica" from it but it's never going to actually be the same car again.

It was a very nice car before being clobbered.
 
I hope that the BMW driver was suitable chastised both financially and verbally. I have thoughts of an Indian style funeral pyre but with old car tyres, with the BMW on top complete with driver <G>
