Good grief. Talk about a miserable work environment. And I don't imagine the wages, perks and health services are anything to brag about.
Reminds me of child labor in the early 19th century. Boys were paid 10¢ a day to work 12 hours a day, six days a week, dipping rolled sheet iron into vats of bubbling liquid tin. So other people could have shiny new kitchen ware ... and so their own families could eat.
argh.
