Walter Cronkite has died

I remember him as as an excellent news broadcaster,he seemed to be well informed. But I will concede that at the time I was not much interested in politics. That, {my interest in politics} didn`t happen until well into the Clinton era.
I`m sure the icon he was in news broadcasting will be sorely missed by many
R.I.P.
