Wagons Ho!

Jody,

Take the drive from Monroe to North Bend,
& stop at Snoqualmie Falls.
There's also an interesting car dealer in
Carnation that sells collector cars.

Doug,

Will do. I think the hotel from Twin Peaks is up in that area.

Saw a really nice BRG MKIII Triumph Spitfire driving on the 522 yesterday. Waved, but since the Spit was about as tall as my tires I don't believe the driver saw us.

It's been foggy and rainy here in the mountains. It's a welcome change from Phoenix heat.

We don't say THE when talking about a freeway here .
Leave that stuff in Ca.

Jody,

I think that you need to pick up a "Washatonian"
dictionary,so you can speak like the locals.
I should have you stop by my Friend's house just East
of Monroe (Fern Bluff Road). He has a TR3 that's been sitting
for years.
The Maltby Cafe (in Maltby)is an interesting place to
eat,if you get there after the breakfast rush,& before the
lunch crowd.

Ok, thanks for the education guys.

Sun just came out, the kids are out playing in the grass. They are absolutely fascinated by slugs. I find it rather funny, but they are so foreign to the kids. I guess a slug simply wouldn't last too long in the desert.

Many years ago, when they put new houses into the woods behind us, the first occupants were out of SoCal.
One day the "blonde" wife comes running over, worried, asks me to come look at this creature in her yard.
One of our slugs.
Had to convince her it wasn't poisonous.

On a trip, my wife and I found a carved wood slug refrigerator magnet, and bought it.

About three weeks later, these neighbors had a neighborhood party.

I go into the kitchen and stuck it on the door....right near the handle.

15 minutes later, we hear a scream from the kitchen, and I just barely kept in front of her as she chased me across the yard!

4 years later, they moved down near Long Bach, Calif., and we visited. The slug was still on their refrigerator!

In your travels, did you see a bronze MK2 Jag?

Stop and see the railway museum in Snoqualmie on the weekend.

Lets find out
Ship em all there

I hadn't really gone looking, but I was just out with the dogs as they were doing their evening constitutional. Man, there must have been 5 per square foot out there in the grass. I had no idea there were so many of the buggers around.

When I was a kid we used to use 'em as bait. Shame I didn't bring my fishing gear.

Jody,

In case you didn't know- Seattle is referred to
as the "Emerald City".They have tshirts that say:
"If Seattle's the Emerald City, then Toto must be a slug".
