I was out doing some minor welding on the floor of the MGB today when I saw an old Type 1 VW go by. Then a splip window Kombi. Then Kombi pickup. Then a KG. Plus two Porsche Speedsters. What's going on?

I check the interweb, and sure enough, there's an air-cooled VW show about 1/2 mile from my house (Central Jersey Volkswagen Society).
So off I go to see it's all about. Wish I had more time. Very nice show with some Porsches, Corvairs and even two CItroens (Ami 6 and a 2CV). The two Speedsters were real but there was also a replica plus a 550. Even a Metropolitan with a VW drivetrain (!).

That chopped one (with the exhausts) is hilarious. Looks mean.
