As in: gear reduction high torque?

For a high compression VW engine. Compression bumped up beyond th' poor li'l Bosch they usually come with.

Owner went out and got one on his own. We'll see...

Got a 1600TP with slightly higher than normal comp with the TP heads removed and single ports on due to TP's having a propensity to crack, no probs with normal starter, have had people suggest using a 6v starter with 12v incoming,
or as I found with my healey with about 13:1 comp if it didnt start first try or second it push it!
Maybe a couple of 12v batteries in parallel might help, or as they did yonks ago use the advance/retard on starting

Owner supplied an "IMI-101" starter.

I've NO doubt this thing will implode on its own. 12:1 comp and some REALLY crazy combos. Weber 40MM IDA's, a LOT of chrome shrouding... I think it's "flash as a rat wif a gold toof!"

We wait for detonation.

relay is what is the most neglected item in the Bosch Vw/Porsche system. A good relay helps immensely...
