Vredestine vs Michelin

I had the pleasure of meeting Vredestein CEO Rob Oudshoorn at SEMA last year. Rob is a car guy. He has, or recently had, a BJ8 and has a Jag XK140. We talked Austin Healeys for quite a while. It's always nice to know a car guy is heading up a company related to our hobby. I enjoyed chatting with him, very nice guy.

Why pay $137.00 for a 165 X 80 X 15 tyre when a 185 X 70 X 15 Sprint classic by the same manufaturer can be had for $ 134.00. Similarly. IMOP this latter tyre is a much better tyre---Keoke :frown:
