Vredestein Sprint +

I need to replace the Michelin XAS tires on my bugeye. I'd be happy to put on 4 new ones but at $275, they're a bit spendy. $275 doesn't sound too bad for four tires, you say? Nah, that's the price EACH!!!! So now I'm looking at Vredestein Sprint + for my wire-wheeled car which are more reasonable at $80 per and don't look like they'd be as rock hard as something I'd use on a Honda Insight for ultramiling. Anyone have any experience with them?

Vredenstein has a higher performance tire, but they are over $100 each and it takes a few weeks top get them. See the other thread running around here.

Thanks. I did see the other thread but I'm wondering if the 155/70 13s would work on a Bugeye with 4" wire wheels?

That might look a bit short unless the car is lowered. However I think the 155 width is fine for 4" rims.
