Seeing as I missed out on Sprite 50 due to scheduling conflicts, I'd be game for another trip to BMWville, and even take in Hap's event. We could just decide to do it "unofficially".

I know mine isn't a Midget, but heck...

you all better be there! It'd be like having a family reunion without the grandparents (the cars that is  ) Square bodies were there a plenty at LoO so I want to meet you bugeye guys at this.

BTW voting worked for me - thanks all

Oh did I mention, I've been working on a tech session by David Vizard if this thing ends up Euro Auto Festival, just a little bait for you all

The thing might, but I surely won't. I know that's no great loss for anyone but me but that's the way it is.

I'm just plain never going to drive more than 900 miles each way to anything.

If it is in Elko that's great, if Reno - Tahoe then great. Otherwise forgettaboutit.

Hey, most folks want the event close to them, understandably so, If I get the nod great (probably won't, but thats OK),if I dont, it's not the end of the world, we got one of the top 5 Euro car shows in America, and we'll still honor the 50th of the Midget, as well as the 50th of the Jag XKE in 2011, we do this type of thing every year, and we've got pretty good at it (500+ cars, 10,000 people), this year it is the 50th of Morgan and Mini. We more than likely (first time I ever announced this publicly) going to give away (yep free) a classic Mini to some lucky show entrant just for entering the show, we more than likely will do the same thing in 2011 if all works out. Wherever the "offical 50th" it is, it should be great, and more than likely it will be in June (except for Euro) and we at Euro will be in early October in sunny SC, so I'm sure more than few of you in this neck of the woods can make it, and have a chance to win a free car for entering a show.

I already planned on doing my gig long before I heard of this club, and our board will work hard to make it a good one.

And just for kicks, we also have a new show in town, The Great Scot! Biritsh Car show held at Furman University, June 6th held in conjuntion with the Greenville Scottish Games (one of the US's largest Scottish Games. I even thought of this venue, but this being it's first year, I didn't feel comfortable about pitching a venue so new, but it will be a great venue, with a lot more than a car show going on. check it out
www.greenvillegames.org, I'm doing some marketing work for this show.

If the worse problem we have to worry about which event we go to or how many events we go to, then life must be pretty good.

Hello all, I was just looking at the Elkhart lake location on yahoo. so can someone tell me where we are going to stay, the proposals will not show again after you vote thanks.

I'm going no matter where it's at! I'll load up the old girl onto a trailer, bring a credit card, bring some tools & spare parts and go! I'm working on the girl now to get her ready. I actually stand a chance to finish some overdo projects. Maybe we can arrange a caravan for us Michiganders.

Here you go! As one of the presenters, I'll be happy to answer any other questions. If you've ever read the book "The Last Open Road", Siebkens is the place. Great spot FULL of history. Peter C.

The aptly named Victorian Village will be our host hotel. This beautiful Victorian resort is on the shores of
Elkhart Lake. It offers more amenities than we can list here. Special room rates have been offered to us at $95
per room, with FREE full breakfast (normally $12.25) included. There are also suites and apartments available at
many price levels.
Directly across the street from the Victorian Village and extending their private beach is the world famous
Siebkens Resort. Siebkens has generously offered to co-host their facility for us. Rates are $75 per night, $80 in
the brand-new section of the hotel. Suites, 1 to 3 bedroom, are also available at a typical cost of $80 - $240 per
suite. Paul Newman, the actor and race driver said, "I always look forward to going to Siebkens when in Elkhart
Lake, where the food and atmosphere are number one." Mario Andretti said, "Since hanging up my helmet, one
of the places I really miss is Siebkens, many great memories. A great place to relax and enjoy fabulous food
and wine." "Siebkens is hallowed ground for racers the world over", according to AutoWeek’s Official Indy Car
Fan Guide. Between these two resorts, we have over 150 rooms, three pools -- both indoor and outdoor, two hot
tubs, five bars – both indoor and outdoor, five restaurants, two private, adjoining sandy beaches and two
picturesque Victorian hotels. There are also numerous Bed and Breakfasts throughout Elkhart Lake. It truly is a
chance to savor the good life at Wisconsin prices. Come and enjoy.
Our contact person at Victorian Village is Angela Evans. She is the Event Coordinator ( 877-860-9988).
Our contacts at Siebkens, Lisa Sadiq and Laurie Stecker are the owners (920-826-2600).
Note: For any overflow, the quaint town of Plymouth WI is only 5 minutes away, and offers a Baymont Inn, the
Plymouth Inn, and the AmericInn
