Voltage Regulator Question

Bugsy's Generator got rebuilt last year. With engine off Battery shows 12.6 V. Engine Running 14.4, turn on the lights and on comes the generator lamp and voltage drops to just over 12 as measured at the battery and Generator lamp never goes off. As soon as the lights go off, generator lamp goes off. Ideas gents.

Follow the voltage regular adjustments in the Bentley manual. You probably need some adjustment on the cutoff.

Are all these readings at idle ? What RPM?
And the obvious belt adjustment/ground wire connection sizing

Check your ground I added a ground strap from body to bonnet

2 ground straps on there already. Didn’t have time to work on Bugsy today.
