VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!

So, a few months ago a friend of mine announced that he was getting married. He lives in Los Angeles. Most of his close friends (like me) are in Colorado, ones in Wisconsin. We were having trouble figuring out what to do for his bachelor party. Timing was the biggest issue.

As luck would have it. We pretty much all had time come available late last week (Thursday evening) and Las Vegas became the target city for the bachelor party. Very early Friday morning most of the Colorado folk hit the road for Las Vegas. Blasting through four seperate snow storms on I-70, followed by some rain and overcast weather on I-15 until St. Georges and then Sun all the way into Las Vegas. Some drove, some flew and we all arrived within 45 minutes of each other. We finally got some timing right. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

We made the trip in 11 hours. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif A 'Valentine One' doing duty in the lead vehicle of the road trip caravan kept us all out of the clink. We picked up one Utah highway patrolman about 3 miles before we saw him. Plenty of time to dial it back to legal speeds. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cowboy.gif

So after a weekend of sleep deprivation and debauchery. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif I am now well on the road to recovery. Here are some pics that I can share. We banned cameras from most of our activities. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif There were 13 of us in total for this bachelor party. We even squeezed all 13 of us into a 6 person limo. Twice. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

What money you bring to VEGAS, stays in Vegas!!!

That was definitely true on this trip. No big winners. Could have really used Bill's luck out there.

Banning the cameras is how we kept most of what happened out there from coming back with us. I do know a girl that went out there for a party weekend with her boyfriend and other friends. When she came back, she found out she was pregnant. So not everything that happens in Vegas stays there. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Did you drive the TR8?

How do ya think she got pregnant!

hahaaa LOL!

No, the TR8 stayed at home. We had too many people and needed cars that carried more people and there associated stuff. The lead car, that I co-piloted, with the Valentine One was a VR6 MkIV VW Jetta. The TR8 would have had a hard time in some of the snow storms we navigated on the way out there.

The TR8 did gets its own vacation though. It got four days inside a heated garage in Denver. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Did you pick up a new Ferrari while at
the dealership?
I'll haul off that old TR8 for nothing.

No, not this trip. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

There is an Enzo FX in their showroom though. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I also got a pic of someguy returning a RENTAL Lamborghini VT. I saw him driving it down the strip too. The idiot was tailgating a cement truck that was dropping debris. Notice how beat up the paint is on the front bumper? Evidently he was the only doofus driver to rent it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
