Once you've experienced the drivers in Massachusetts, you will fully understand the term used to describe them in neighboring states.
See the USS Constitution.
Get down to Fall River and tour the ships.....battleship, tin can, diesel sub, Russkie attack boat.

I'd second that. The North End has lots of small places you can find for a really nice meal. Or if you just need a quick slice of pizza hit Ernesto's. Just remember that 1 slice is actually 2. (2 slices is half a pie) You could see the Old North Church and then go next door to my alma mater the North Bennet Street School, which is having it's annual open house this weekend. https://www.nbss.edu/

North End. Great Italian resturants{all good} and Mikes Pastries. Canolies and a cappacino.Sit by the window and enjoy the show. Jacob Worth on Stewart St in the theater area. Real German food and Spaaten Optimator on tap. Good stuff.Quincy Market. Facing the main building off to the right around the corner,Raw bars and beer. For a real treat for seafood find the No-name down by the docks in the harbor.Ask where it is. Has no name. That's why they call it the no-name. Been there since early 1900s and that's where the fishermen would eat. Be sure to try the calamari and seafood soups.Have a drink at the top of the Prudential Center resturant and bar"Top of the Hub" Be sure to do the duck boats and watch out for caaaas when crossing the street. Check out Newberry St too. The wife will max the credit card.Live on the wild side and wear a NY Yankee hat.

Avoid driving in the city proper if at all possible. Park the car at your hotel and walk or take the T (subway) or a taxi. You'll be happier.

Boston's full of neat history and areas, most accessible with a short walk from a T stop. It's a great tourist town. The Holocaust Memorial is an impressive thing to see as well -- very sobering.

Well, we started today. Did what we typically do in a new city and took the get on/get off bus tour. This one was nice as it also included a harbour cruise that ended at the Constitution dockyard. We saw the Constitution, the museum there as well. Went through the North Side Church - very cool! looked longingly in the window of the Bennet St School - oh my! Had a fabulous meal in an Italian restaurant recommended by locals. Saw Faneuill Hall and the museum on the top floor. Had chowder at the Quincy Marketplace. Missed Paul Revere's house - we may go back but we remain a tad ambivalant about this whole anti - loyalist revolution thing anyway. 'Course the way the economy is going you might want back in. (not that the Uk is any better but they do have Wills and Kate)

Actually really loving it - and no cell phone/ work/ home phone doesn't hurt either. Drivers are mostly amateurs that like to blow their horns - compensating i suppose.

Anyway, will keep you posted - oh and only one Lbc Land Rover Defender - nice!
