Virtual Rallye

Whew,
I was sure that replaying that leg was going to mess with all the good luck that i had going.

Nope, still lucky. put in the same route and speed, same result.

Amazingly only had one leg with trouble (fuel pump) and had one leg with a shortcut (thanks Basil!)

I don't know if i can keep up this pace, but I will try!

Rob

Well, you are definitely a contender!

So, has the end date officially changed to midnight Eastern on the 31st?

Haven't had a chance to make the database change, bt I'll do it this weekend.

Would have got the full points on that last leg of mine, but the fuel pump went out. First problem I've had since a flat a couple states back.

Oh well....

Sure could use a some extra points to put me closer to the top!

This is a tough one!
Roadcrews and pot holes but I did get to meet Basil
Now spark plug issues!, well thought it was now time to try the bribe...that did not work out for me very well : (

that's the end of that! That last leg was a tough one. I got the time right but I got another flat! Three problems in three legs... ouch :frown:

But still, I thought I did pretty good for a first timer. And more importantly it was a lot of fun.

Thanks Basil :thankyousign:

Anyone know where to get a pint of Guinness around here?

Five potholes, one fuel pump and one good samaritan point. Combine with one bad route choice and a failed bribe at the end and you have 88 points.

Still great fun. Thanks Basil

Dinoman ... I'm up for that pint!

Matt

Sounds good Matt, if I ever get over to your side of the pond, I will have to look you up! Or are you a Yooper?
:thirsty:

Not a Yooper Dino ... almost as far away from the UP as you can get. I live in Belleville, which is between Ann Arbor and Detroit (near where the VTR convention was held last year).

My wife is a Yooper though, from Wakefield (which is almost in Wisconsin).

I have been to that "little" car show you have in your hometown each summer ...

I use'sta be a yooper. I was born at Kincheloe AFB, or so I am told, but I did not live there long. Military brat, so we moved a lot. I thinkt the base is a state pen now. It was way out by Sault Sainte Marie near a little town called Rudyard.

I have been in Wisconsin for about 10 years now.
