Vinyl in and carpet test fitted

Oooh, Jack, that's plush!
That looks like a really expensive hotel lobby.

Miss Agatha looks like she's getting ready for the ball!!! What a doll! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

oh oh Jack it sounds as if the better half wants to try out the back seat

Looks real nice, Jack. I wouldn't glue the carpet down, I'd install it with snaps. Then you can easily take it out to dry when it gets wet. (And it will.)

Purring is putting it mildly! I'm sure he was grinning from ear to ear when Mrs Jack said it looked good. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
And boy does it look good.

Stuart.

Glue vs snaps.

Yep the floor parts the flat parts will be snaped in. The small bits that cover the odd frame peices etc will be glued in. The front tunnel cover needs neither one.

Oh yea, the carpet kit Moss, did come with 16 snap sets and yes I will use some if not all, not sure of all locations yet but will know soon.

Now what I don't know is what to do with the gas pedal. do I cut this lovely carpet? Just a slice of course and slide it up through. Also will need to cut two holes for the top bow storage mount holes. Talk about tramatic.

Now as to why. If you do not glue down the strange small peices they slide all the time and in addition are not really of a size to snap. Glued in they will peal right up given a tug.

Now just a min. here. How is Miss Agatha going to get wet? No way, not even sure I want to wash her. Have yet to look into stuff to clean without water. Think maybe some of the fancy firms have something will need to check on that before too long.

Tomorrow is supose to be 62 here so I think I will just get the carpet down. Otherwise, fuel gage is comming and carb parts. If both work out I will be ready for seats next month. However, I am sure I will find lots of little things to mess with.

Nice work, Jack. She's looking good!

Covered side pannels and installed. God she is looking lovely.
