You older boys recognize this?

Nope, I think it from a C-rations pack! I'll trade you my eggs for your brownie!

Most that were about 18 years of age around 1968 might recall it

Yep, that's about right!

You mean they don't make those anymore? I haven't smoked since 1968 and then it was a pipe. Marlboro was a new brand. We had Viceroys, Old Golds, Cools, Marvels, Camels, Lucky Strikes and a few others that I guess no longer exist. I always liked the whiskey flavored pipe tobacco, I remember the tin had a sailing ship on it. To this day, I still love to smell a good pipe tobacco burning in the bowel. PJ

Man, I sure hope that's a typo.:eeek:

:jester:

LOL, I knew someone would pick up on that! Didn't see it until later and figured I'd just leave it. Grin:highly_amused: PJ

LSMFT - Lucky Strikes means fine tobacco. I smoked Parliament and another brand I can't even remember. I was a 'good' smoker - 2 -3 packs a day. I still have all the freebies retained by saving the boxtops from one of the brands. The freebies were a picnic basket, glasses, etc. I wished I could remember the brand. All of the items had a black/red motiff. That's what happens when you get old, crs runs rampart. P.S. I quit smoking June 6, 1991, cold turkey.
