Vintage racing photos [period stuff]

Okay...

I was just browsing through Flickr and found an incredible collection of period racing photos, from Britain and Europe, 1910's to 1920's, it appears to be hundreds of photos, I haven't even scratched the surface yet but it appears to be an impressive collection.

Thanks. I am always looking for more vintage photos of Brooklands. I read about the track back in 1976, and have been fascinated with it ever since (hence my ID and the name of my slot car track). A lot of very cool stuff there.

Reminds me a lot of the Vanderbilt cup race that used to be held across parts of Long Island by William K. Vanderbilt. It's still hard to believe that they raced around here back then.

That is an *amazing* collection of photos!

My Dad grew up not far from Ards (Ireland), where many of those TT pictures were taken.
I've actually been looking for some old pictures from Ards for a while. Thanks!

I'm quite curious about the source of the photos, especially given the sheer volume of photos. I'm almost wondering if they were scanned from a book, no matter I suppose.
