..speaking of Vincents,
I was just reading about Marty Dickerson (I'm a lifetime AMA member and he's in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame). I thought I'd look around the web and see if there was any good pics of his bike.
I found some ~Great Pictures~ of Dickerson's Bonneville Vincent.
This bike held it's class record for 20 years.
Dickerson was a friend and team mate of the famous Rollie Free (another LSR racer with a Vincent).
Dickerson, a Californian, was also active in west coast road races on the same bike. Later in life he taught motorcycle repair in a vocational school and is still active in motorcycling today.
Within the last 10 years or so, in his 70s, he set a vintage land speed record on the bike.
