VIN info anyone?

I just wound up with the '60 BE in the "new arrival in the hood" posting (SWMBO is gonna have a fit! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif )and would like to find out more about it (without going the Heritage route yet!).

The VIN# is AN5L30586
It was last registered in Colorado as a1960 and has approx. 40,000 original miles and is very complete if a bit rusty (mostly surface rust though!).

I know a couple of you are pretty good at de-coding the VIN info and would like to enlist your help!

AN5/29976 was produced 21 December 1959
AN5/30215 was the first car produced in 1960
AN5/31595 was produced 14 January 1960

My bet is that AN5/30586 was produced between January 3-6 1960.

It's that old truism...Bugeyes attract Bugeyes /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif ! Bet you can't own just one! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
 
I unfortunately only have ever had one Bugeye, though around 15 Spridgets.
