Video of my fast "parade lap" in Elan S1

Last weekend was the SOVREN Pacific Northwest Historics Vintage Races. I drove with my father in the '64 Elan down to Pacific Raceways. For the "parade laps" my father held the video cam!

My current story for Cardomain.com tells the whole story -- complete with video. Here's the video:

And the article: https://blog.cardomain.com/blog/2008/07/i-love-a-parade.html

On the way down to Kent, on the track, and on the way back to Seattle, I just kept thinking how much I love that car!!!

Re: Video of my fast "parade lap" in Elan S1

Sorry for being MIA, guys. Life has just been very busy lately.

I was recruited to write for the cardomain.com blogs, plus I'm still writing The Four Wheel Drift and other work. I was also helping to re-restore my father's 1929 Franklin. My wife also decided that we should attempt to buy this other house, which meant getting our current house ready to sell! Plus, of course, there's the normal work of hauling my daughters around.

So it was a nice break to get to drive the Elan for about 70 miles. It just hummmmmms along (even in the rain!!!)
