Video for dummies

Tinster,....thanks...I clicked on your link and my computer froze up.

chupacabras?? can't you get those a taco bell? Although why would we want to know that we know what they are made of.

Your driving video couldn't have been more entertaining. It took forever to download, so the car would run for five seconds and stop; three and stop; etc...
I think the car is much like my old 6 that I always felt was possessed. I would have been happier had it been repossessed.

I think Pedro may have evolved from one of the chupacabra lines and become the even more dreaded "chupadinero".

Hey, thanks Dale for posting that YouTube video. That really makes me homesick for the U.S. and cruising. I hope you get it back on the road soon.

From Wikipedia:
Chupacabra (also chupacabras /tʃupa'kabɾas/, from Spanish chupar: to suck, cabra: goat; goats sucker) is a cryptid said to inhabit parts of the Americas. It is associated with the ancient myth of the chimera or griffin, and more recently with alleged sightings of an unknown animal in Puerto Rico (where these sightings were first reported), Mexico, and the United States, especially in the latter's Latin American communities. The name translates literally from the Spanish as "goat sucker."

lol. That's funny!

Surely this topic should be on the TVR page!

Same happened to me. Made me wonder whether the download was slow or that this was actually a true impression of a Crypty drive, given the numerous posts where it mentions it broke down (again)......
But I am convinced now that the car exists and at one time managed to run for (at least) 1 min and 17 secs without trouble ..

The car once ran for 8 seconds and died in the
street in front of my house.

Another time the car ran for almost 1/2 hour,
at speeds up to 45 KPH (75 MPH) and only broke
down 26 miles miles away from my house.

Another time the car broke down and was stolen
by children.

Another time the car ran for 20 minutes, got me home
and broke down in my driveway.

Another time the car broke down after 6 miles.

Another time the car successfully ran for 11 minutes
before it broke down.

The ultimate record is a sunday drive of almost 1 hour.

Another time......................The wheel fell off.

The car is currently broken down.

blah, blah, blah.............

Maybe you should get those kids to help you get it running! They obviously moved it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Just a thought!

On the other hand, maybe you should have them go pay Pedro a visit. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif
