Thanks Chris-

Just a quick question on your shifting - it looks like you've put the overdrive selector on the steering wheel itself, is that right? It looks like it works very well for you to drop in and out of overdrive without taking your hands off the steering wheel. Are you clutching when you hit the overdrive?

It is always a delight to see the European circuits.

I *think* that was a Ferrari you passed at about 8:20 in the video....yes?

At first, I did not realize that your were on the northern loop of the NurburgRing.

But then as I watched, I started asking myself:

<span style="font-style: italic">"How LONG is this circuit?!?!". </span>

Then I figured out that you were on part of the "Ring".

Eventually (with a little searching), I discovered that your circuit is a whopping 22.8 km long! (or 14+ miles). Wow!

I'll be at ~Our Watkins Glen Event~ in a few weeks.
That is our longest circuit at about 5.5 km (3.4 miles).

Just so you can see what current vintage racing looks like in our neighbourhood, ~HERE~ is a video I shot from my car two weeks ago.

Don't hesitate to post your videos/results at the ~Racing Section~ of British Car Forum too.

The configuration we did is 25 km long.
The car I overtook at 8.20 was a Marcos GT.

Cheers
