There is a "Victory by Design" marathon Friday AM, depending on time zone on SPEED, check your local listings as they say. They are the greatest!!

Unfortunately, most of the DVDs are no longer available. I've seen the DVD versions, and would love the set. I keep hoping they'll produce another run of the discs.

I liked the episode on Lotus.

A friend of mine brought a Lotus Elise video in to work on one of his gadgets (a video player about the size of a PSP). I think that was the coolest history of a car video I've ever seen. They covered everything from the design of the body, to the pocket change of a budget they had to work with, to aerodynamics engineers arguing with body stylists over body changes to reduce/prevent lift. They covered all the Lotus Elise revisions up to but not including the Toyota powered US version.

The only one they have left is the Maserati one. I emailed them a while back to see if they'd have another run done, and I did get a reply saying that they hoped to have them available again. That was some time ago, so I guess they never got around to making another batch. Love to hear them on the surround system, boy those racing engines sound wonderful!

I just finished watching the Ford Power edition of VBD with everything from Mustangs to Cobras to GTs to Galaxies. Very entertaining show.
