In the process of modifying my tonneau to accommodate my Miata seats, it will be necessary to install ‘pockets’ in the tonneau. I’d like the material to match, but it appears the vendor [Victoria British] does not sell the material by the yard, and a call to them indicates they refuse to pass on supplier information.

Would any of you know where to get leatherette/vinyl to match the Victoria British tonneau? I’m sure I’m not the first to need this …

Hi Al.
Moss sells vinyl by the yard.
You call them to request samples. #800-667-7872
Or try Robbins Auto Tops. #805 604-3200
Good luck.

I've heard the vinyl used in many places on Big Healeys called 'ambla.' I thought it was the name of a pattern, but did some googlin' and found out it's actually a company:

https://www.ambla.com/

Looks like they have a large choice of patterns and colors; maybe you can find a source a little closer to home?

Yes. I gave you the source. It is mostly used for dash covers, etc. Was a cheap material at one time. You can skin it to make it thinner for difficult corners.
