I had no idea a TR6 could make such noise, er music. Kind of makes me regret my engine swap, but I think any doubts will go away when I turn the key for the first time.

I would love to know the specs on the car, but didn't find very much detail on my search. Anybody know anything about the car in the video

Was that Dale on the run up in the mountains of Puerto Rico??

I can't speak for certain, but I believe he does his own work. That car has been highly developed over many years for hillclimbs. It was at TRF several years ago for the summer party. The car has been written about in either Grassroots or Classic Motorsports, maybe both.
It does sound great and screams in real life as much as in video.

It's great to hear that howling sound of a Triumph six!

"That devilish car with the hellish howl" (quote about a GT6). Nothing like it, pure music! :yesnod:

GREAT! Love the sound. always have. Really gets my tappets clattering!

Looks like he might be burning some oil though.

His time on that run musta' been crappy. Stopped somewhere along the way and changed his # from a 2 to a 20. Judges probably very confused.

What kind of car was the #47 blue one?

The video is from the Crow Mountain Hill Climb. It's held here in northeast Alabama in September. It's an SCCA event. Our local club mans one or two of the corners each year. Haven't been to it myself. JK Jackson is from Tallassee Florida. I think both he and his son race their TR6s. I'm not sure if they came up this year. Gas prices hit $4+ that weekend and the hurricane hadn't even hit yet. We had pretty severe gas shortages around here for about 6 weeks after the storm.
Google Crow Montain Hill Climb and you'll find a bunch of information, pictures, videos...

Jackson, was. and may be still, source for suspension modifying pieces. Jag upper balljoints, bushings, tie rod ends, etc...

He used to have an extensive assortment of engine hop up pieces also. Hopefully still does.
