I'm holding out for the Replicator. Feed it a V-12 Ferrari piston and get a dozen more out the other end, 0,508mm oversize. :wink:
 
Shoot, why fix it, feed in a V-12 Ferrari at one end and get a brand new one out the other. New tires?? Make a new one. Needs washed?? make a new one...

I didn't know this until a couple days ago that there's a copier that can make parts in metal to the exact dimensions of an old part. Wonder if it would copy a Ford Stromberg 97 carburetor in aluminum? I need 2! :encouragement:
 
Here you go, Stromburg 97s. Stock, $499.00, chrome, $599.00. Slightly different than the old Pep Boys price in the early60s of about 5/6 bucks ea. rebuilt, with trade in. Chrome was about $20.00 :greedy_dollars:

I thought 3-D printers were a fake when I first heard about them. Impossible. Now, apparently if you know what you're doing, you can make almost anything. How about some cheap Ferrari or Bugatti parts?
 
Now the parts can be made of better quality than the original cast pot metal ones pretty amazing technology
i know that some airplane car manufactures use it for rapid prototyping save tons of money by having a part in hand from concept to in hand in 24 hours
