This is the coolest thing I have ever seen! I went to the big British car show today even though my Bugeye wasn't done in time. I walked around and snapped a few pictures. Check this out:

Is that great or what!?!

Here are a few other angles:

Recognize this Bugeye?? You may if you received the Moss catalog sometime last year. I believe this one was on 2 or 3 covers. A very nice young lady owns it....can't for the life of me remember her name though!

Here's one with a fiberglass front end....I'm guessing it is a Speedwell nose?

I have a few more pics, but I need some sleep (I go to work in 6 hours and have been up since yesterday afternoon!). I'll post more tomorrow.

That's just too cool -- what I call an excess of creativity! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I like that front end on the blue car too. Seems to fit the car quite nicely.

I like the price too - how did he get the box there?

Theory A - In the trunk?

Theory B - An even bigger truck and toy box

Not just the box, but the things printed on it are pretty clever, too. "Batteries not included" is great!

And...

As long as you got her phone number, that's all that matters. Introduce your car to hers; maybe you can get them to breed!

Almost put my coffee through my nose when I saw that picture!!

Very clever. Wish I had the time and creativity to think of that.

At the price on the box, I will buy a dozen!!! I had to go back and look twice at that!! The 1:1 scale didn't even register at first glance!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif That has to be one of the most creative displays I have seen at a car show!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Reminds me of a Steven Wright joke. He said that he once received a life size map of the United States... it said on the bottom 1 mile = 1 mile .... it took him a year to fold it.

Hmmm, I guess it is all in the delivery.

D'oh!

As far as the price on the box.....I should have posted a clearer picture of that. It actually says "Quite a bit more than $12.99". Here ya go:

Here are a couple of other Bugeyes in the race car section:

Wow

Thanks for sharing the pictures - the bug eye in a box is excellent.
