Vertical link questions

Hi guys - my vertical link (#20) has one of the bolts (#39) stuck in it.

Any issue in using it as-is (with the bolt stuck in it)?

If I recall, two are threaded and two are straight through with nylocs. IS it the threaded ones that are stuck?

#39 should be a slip fit through the caliper bracket, VL, spacer and steering arm; with a Nyloc nut on it. Should be no problem leaving it stuck in the VL, as long as you never want to change the caliper bracket

But I'll bet that if you soak it in PB Blaster for a few weeks, it will come out. Bend back the tab and use a box-end wrench to try to turn it back and forth.

You may be binding on the spacer #20, I bet with PB or a little heat etc you can get it free. On my TR3, I had to remove that caliper bracket, otherwise the link wouldn't unthread off the trunnion - is the 4A setup the same way?

That's where my bolt was seized -- corrosion between the bolt and spacer. I sprayed it with PB Blaster, then held the spacer with a pipe wrench and hit the bolt with an impact wrench. This un-seized the two and after another 30 seconds of spinning the bolt I was able to extract it and the spacer.
